Description: SKŘIVÁNKY NA NITI natočil v roce 1969 Jiří Menzel na motivy povídek z knihy Bohumila Hrabala Inzerát na dům, ve kterém už nechci bydlet (1965). Dvacet let zůstal film uzavřen v trezoru, protože odkrýval skutečnosti padesátých let, jež měly zůstat skryty. Jeho děj se odehrává v kladenských ocelárnách, kam byli posíláni na brigádu "političtí provinilci" (živnostníci, intelektuálové i lidi pevní v náboženské víře). Vedle nich pracují na šrotišti i ženy a dívky, uvězněné za pokus o útěk za hranice, tzv. "kopečkářky". Celý film je jediným pásmem paradoxních, někdy groteskních, jindy lyrických situací.
